BUT...
I won't be blogging here anymore...Intending of changing blog address...since I think no one comes* here to read, I can't be bothered to blog too.
*hm. don't get me wrong. When i say this, I meant my blog is DEAD. no tags...ya know?
I'll link you guys up soon...
Until next time, ciaos.
today was really a wonderful day...I'm glad it actually came...somehow, it is like a form of healing for our relationship...It's been drastically bad recently, but things changed for the better...and i really do hope it will stay this way...going up never coming down.
Well here are the pictures taken today...mostly food...from TAOS!!
This is a kind of salad...with ham, potato and tomatoes...my honey's favourite..
The other salad...fruit salad...with crabstick on top...
This is a...kind of mushroom...for once i thought it was meat...
creamy soup...pumpkin...
and this is a...sharkfin melon soup...without the sharkfin that is...
Today also went to watch the movie p.s. I love you...at P.S...haha...plaza singapura...perfect place eh. The story was quite touching especially at the end...The female lead eventually got on with her life after her husband died a year later...I totally love the first scene where the couple was arguing...and unforutunately only the two of us know why...You could try figure it out after u've watch it...
Went to eat dinner at Tao's, as recommended by my dearest. The food there was pertty nice, service was tip-top I think. I'll probably give it a 8.5/10.
After dinner we went back to Plaza Singapura and went to shop around the mall. Managed to realized that we received our angbao of $150 from NTUC fairprice...kinda slow for us...Initially wondered why she had that extra money after her spending on the previous day...
Anyways, it was really a wonderful day for me...
I really want to believe that every single day with you is wonderful...doesn't matter where we are or what we do...As long as I'm with you, it's good.
P.S. I love you...
Well that was what I said during the vocational assessment's interview. But really the thing that really grips me with fear is actually I think that my physical fitness don't match the barely minimum requirements for a commando.
My stamina seriously suck.
As for that day, 15th feb...woke up at 5.44am thx to my dear sister who wants to reach school at 6.30am. That is sick.
In the end I reached that at 6.45am...45minutes early thanks to a wonderful blue honda car...anyways, after reaching there I went to the counter and double check if that is the place and indeed it was. But I was simply too early...What to do?
No choice I went to the bus stop and sat there till like 7.15am...sit and daydream, count the number of cars passing by...seriously nothing better to do.
when I went back, the rest of the people started queueing up to register our names. After that, put our handphones into the lockers provided. No choice I had to share with another person because we didnt have loose change; locker needed 20cent coin.
After that we followed a person in white tee and went into the camp, officially.
I think i'll continue later...
OMG.
And it's work till 5.30pm, after which counting of money roughly about 6.20-6.40pm before I rush back home for reunion dinner...Anyways, as always that it happens every year, the festive mood will be over...
Now, as I was saying about 15th feb...I'm going for some vocational assessment at Hendon camp...
That's like the worst thing that could happen...But on the other hand, it could probably be a door of opportunities...
It's after all a vocational assessment of whether I'm fit to be a commando...yeah. I read on the ns forum that when you're selected to go for this assessment, 80% possiblity that you'll get in to commando...
Well, first of all, I thought how in the world do they choose the people? As again, according to the forums, they say that we're the top 5% elites to be chosen for commando position. I'm like thinking...after just one medical checkup? I remembered clearly i anyhow do my IQ test(during the medical checkup).
But in any case, there are lots of uncleared questions up in my head...lots of nervousness, yet at the same time I'm kind of calm and awaiting for 15th feb...Hopefully I can get a chance to see a clearer picture after chinese new year....wahahahahahaha..
SLEEP!!!
I'm not sure why...but it seems that my parents seem to take their time, "deely derely" to buy the goods and all...
While here I am at fairprice NTUC, slogging my guts out to serve the rushing people...Apparently, I have been working since Friday, 5pm till about 10.30pm...then the next day, Saturday which was a crazy one...worked from 2-12midnight. No choice had to take cab home together with my honey and another colleague. The cab fare in total was about $11.70. Then my dearest princess called me and told me that my NETS card was with her...and that was trouble for me because I wanted to pay using NETS. No choice had to pay by cash though it's not enough...Wanted to go back home to take..but the cab uncle was quite "sia-lan", he kept repeating that " you know you're going to at least 2-3 places you should have at least collected a $5 dollars from each person...now you want me to wait here...(I asked to stop at the LRT station), and if the bus comes? Ah...forget it lah..."
Then I got off his cab, slamming the door.
School ended!! Still have lots to blog on though...some NS thing on 15th feb...muahahahahahaha.
As far as I know, chinese new year only reminds me of traditions. Traditions of this, traditions of that...and all sorts of things...I kind of pity those non-chinese man...I mean, even NTUC is playing chinese songs just to go along with the upcoming festival...If I were a malay, I'll probably get irritated by all the "chiang chiang" noise...Speaking of which, workplace is becoming more and more busier these days, since it's officially the last week for preparations for chinese new year. People can buy up till 300-400 worth of new year groceries. And not only that, the other races actually join in the lunaticism(i call that the act of being crazy); there was one customer who bought about $87 worth of items...guess what? she gave me 44pieces of $2notes.
-.-"
And there's another one...gave me a $1000 note for $70 of items...it actually gave me fear of overgiving the change...
Well, for now...there are quite alot of upcoming events as well...
Steamboat with gang at my humble house; 9feb.
Chinese new year itself.
valentine's day.14th feb..very close after cny. Also have to actually report for some vocational assessment...
And there of course, is my birthday,22nd feb.
After which, submission of projects, 3rd march. Happens to be junze's birthday as well.
Following that would be my driving theory test...24th march i think?
busy busy busy....
Heard lots of people went to NS already...speaking of which, this guy by the name of Andy recently gave me a suggestion to go sign on with the army. Not only I get more than what a normal recruit gets during NS, I also get money when I study as well as an income more than what others would have when they first found a job.
BUT...
The exact same guy now tells me(together with another army friend) that it's better to go in to NS, find out if you really like army life before you consider for a 5-year contract with the army. Sounds reasonable yah? Then why in the first place tell me about all the benefits I get, etc. the amount of money, career stability, chance to take private courses(like what he's actually doing now).
School ended...so shall this post too..
