Labour Day...

Hmm...I wonder what's the event behind labour day...Why celebrate labour day in the first place? And what's the difference between labour day and may day?
Haha...I don't know. All I know is, school's starting after this , which also marks the end of my enormously long holiday.

This calls for a celebration!! haha...

Well according to wikipedia, a Labour Day is an annual holiday that resulted from efforts of the labour union movement, to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers.

Thanks to these guys, our parents and relatives can work 9am-5pm every week... well at least that's the standard working hours that I know.

So what about May Day? What has it got to do with the Month of May?
Once again in accordance to wikipedia,
May Day is a name for various holidays celebrated on May 1 (or in the beginning of May), ranging from pagan festivals to International Workers' Day, its most famous action.

So there you have it. It's a break for everyone; school students, civil workers, tution centres, etc. Enjoy this day and kick out the monday blues!

Here comes the exams...

heheh...Once again it's that time of the year. Everytime it comes, it only tells me one thing; the speed of time.
Yes. From first day of school, till now it is almost half a year gone. All we have to do is spend the same amount of time for the next half, and here comes December, here comes the end of 2006 and the welcome of 2007.

Wow.

Anyways, not much have been hapening nowadays. Just live life the same as before. I've spent quite some time over at the lan shop, mapling...hoping to gain more levels. Reason being my internet connection is not stable enough and can't allow me to do Party Quest. Currently level 29 mage, hoping to level up soon and go for job advancement before school starts.

And yes. Now on the television screen is the lamest show I've ever seen; Pretty Cure. An anime from Japan. Looks like the dumbest "transforming" show I've ever seen.

Anyways, good luck to all those taking Mid-year exams. Remember to always depend on God.

Presenting...
The latest blogpost...
*Due to special request, the colours have been changed.

Yay. One more week and school starts. Personally, as you can see even from my MSN, I am desperate to start school.

It's like...ever since after the end of O levels, I've wasted half a year of my life rotting at home, muscles storing up too much sugar, and worse of all, sleeping till the bright sun is right on top(if you know what I mean).

I mean, this kind of life, just makes me feel so much so, like a non-christian. Living life aimlessly...no job, no school, no money, etc. Everyday just wake up, eat, have fun, watch tv, eat again, watch tv again and go to sleep.

Seriously, I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THIS KIND OF LIFE. I WANT TO START SCHOOL!

Yes, that is how desperate I am.

And for those out there who are in school and are trying all kinds of means and ways to skip school just to get away from facing that particular irritating teacher/fellow classmates who somehow keep picking on you, you'll know now that there's someone(like me) who wishes desperately to go to school, but can't.

Blah. Enough of this topic.

Yesterday, I followed Stacy and gang to her church's cellgroup. Man, I tell you. It's exactly the same as Sec 4 cell 4 '05, except that the cell leader in my case is close to my age. Somehow, after that cell meeting I can only confirm one thing; and that is God is trying to tell me something about faith.

Yeah, it's been coming to me like more than once already...faith this, faith that, living by faith, not by sight. Even at service, the song "One way", it started with the bridge
"You are the way, the truth and the life
We live by faith and not by sight."

And Sis. Waiwai's testimony on the funeral ritual, having faith and full trust on God that He will take care of everything...and even the Doc's Journal event; P.Dom was saying, "faith is the conviction in our hearts that God will do something."

No doubt about it. God is speaking. All these can't be so much of a coincidence.

Wow. Doctor's Journal eh?

Yep. Yesterday and the day before was the showing of the good friday event; Doctor's Journal. Loved it very much. Heard that they said it would be totally different from before and that it wouldn't just be drama, song, then calling out for those who want to accept Christ.

And yes, it is different from before. If I were to put myself in the shoes of a VIP in that event, I would feel kind of overwhelmed at first by the sudden burst of celebrative songs and the hyper-energetic dance performance.

It did came suddenly. Did it?

Anyways, the time travelling concept was quite cliche though; but still I like it. Then in came P. Dom as Doc. Luke, greeting the crowd, beginning his story of Jesus, etc.
But the best part of all was the song; "Imagine me without you
I'd be lost and so confused
I wouldn't last a day I'd be afraid
Without you there to see me through.

Imagine me without you
Lord You know it is just impossible
Because of you
it is all brand new
my life is now worthwhile
I can't imagine me without you."

The Ruthless VS The Naive...

Yes. They are wanting to fight against each other. One ask the other to beware, I'm coming to get you. And the other says you better watch out.

No, it's not the clash of the titans.

And of course, not forgetting the one and only peacemaker...or should I call it their referee...
One calls the other b*t*h and the other shoots back jerk.
One says I'll make sure you suffer. The other replies as if he don't dare, "Come lah. I waiting for you.".
The naive, being naive says rape is good sex(quoted by the ruthless). And The ruthless tries to drill into her the real truth, but thinks that proving in action will be more efficient.

Omigosh.

The ruthless says,"She has broken my control nerves over and over again. I am forced into being driven nuts. Believe me, I will get her one day."

I guess, the right thing now for me to do is make sure that no physical violence is done to the other and that both will not get injured. Haha...as the show goes, "Resue mission averted through combat."(Machine Robo rescue), I'll say anti-conflict mission averted through neutrality...?

Haha.

The ruthless, being ruthless finds the naive's actions immature and not worth to be a human whereas the naive, being naive says, "What's his problem?"
Haiz. I don't know what to do.

But well, I thank God that He helped me through this conflict. I really asked God for wisdom. The right words to say, how to convince the ruthless to be merciful. This afternoon he called me again. Somehow, I went into the topic of consequences. How if he gets into a fight with the naive, and if she counterattacks and blah blah blah, they get caught, he will throw away his future. Thus he asked me what is the best solution to settle this. and I told him in a civilized way; come together, settle down and talk things out.But one sad thing is I can't save their friendship. Guess the ruthless can't stand the naive, in this case.

Thank God. He has done another miracle.

Interview on my experience
in building the
force impulse gundam...

Interviewer: I've heard you bought a gundam model...?
Interviewee: Yes, I bought it on 10th April at Cinelesiure. It is the Force Impulse Gundam...also the picture shown in this blog.

Interviewer: So tell me, how was it like to build the model itself?
Interviewee: At first I would say that it is extremely fun. Building the head, then the body, the legs, the arms and most of all getting to know why was core splendor called the core splendor.

Interviewer:So have you found the reason why?
Interviewee:Simple. The core splendor is located behind the chest and in front of the force silhouette. So all in all, it seems like it is the centre of the model itself, which is similar to the mobile suit.

Interviewer:That's interesting. So tell me, what's the easiest part to build?
Interviewee:Personally, I feel that the chest and the core splendor is the easiest to build, because of some complications in other parts like the legs and the arms.

Interviewer:So what was the most difficult part of building it?
Interviewee:Actually there isn't any difficulties in building the different parts of the model. The real challenge comes in when everything needs to be connected; especially the core splendor and the force sihouette.

Interviewer:Tell me more.
Interviewee:Impulse gundam becomes Force Impulse when the force sihouette(force for short) is connected to the mobile suit. But in the process of connecting it, I found out that it can't fit in. The body of force comes in two parts; one is connected to the Impulse together with the wings and the other is at the bottom connecting to the core splendor.
The core splendor leaves a gap for the piece of thing to connect to it, but when force is connected it is pushed forward and the piece below cannot be fixed no matter what.
The other thing is that I tried connecting force to core splendor before connecting to the body. But, once core is connected, force jumps out as though it had in-built springs.<p>Interviewer:Ok, so that was some tough job. How do you intend to finish the whole thing, or rather do you believe you can finish even though with such difficulties?
Interviewee:When I first bought this model, I had two purposes; One, is to kill time. The other is to see if there's any challenge to enjoy in this build-the-model toy. Now that I've found my challenge, which is to connect everything together, I believe that nothing is impossible and impossible is nothing.

Interviewer:What have you learnt for the past few days in building this model?
Interviewee: Sometimes, not everything will go your way. If this way fails, try the other, don't be stubborn and keep on insisting on the same unworkable way.

Interviewer:Thank you very much for your time and participation in this interview. We'll look forward to seeing your Force Impulse gundam come to life.

Everything is lost...

So sad...everything in the computer is lost...every setting, every song, every document, every picture, every video...

Gone gone gone. Just like that.

So is that saying about what's yours will be yours and what's not won't be true in this case then?
Bleh. Stupid thinking. Now all I wish is that I can get a protable hard drive to store new data.

Went to the big ITE in Simei yesterday...Man that place is big! But, getting lost? nah. it's organized enough not to allow one to get lost...
Anyways, back to the Simei ITE...Well I am sort of quite excited to go into this school that is this big, after all I once said that people actually envy me for going into that school.
Purpose in going there was to pay the school fees, buy the uniforms, and take the photo for the new ez-link card...and I thought the old one was supposed to be reused...
The funnies part was at the photo-taking session...My other friend, stacy was really into getting the best photo...Haha...she was there taking the photo...then thought that the pic taken wasn't good, so retake again...and on and on and on...

I guess that's about it for now...wait till next time...
