Pre-post: Jun's Birthday...
Wednesday, October 31, 2007

It's the last day of the month of October...Time really flies. Soon enough, it's November already. Not for long, it will be Christmas, then New Year's Eve, and then it will be 2008. Speaking of which, today's is hamster's birthday...and we're even organising a miniature party cum halloween for her.

My goodness. All other hamsters bow in envy.."

Me and honey went all out to really prepare this special day for her. As they always say, "That's what friends are for."
Somehow, both of them(li jun and jess) have proven to me that it's really somehow better to have a smaller group of friends than mixing around with everybody in class because it seems to me that the 2 of them prefer their own small group that started since secondary school days.

Honestly, from the very start I don't really feel comfortable with the chinese. I feel that the malays are more united, more fun to be with. Of course, by the looks of it lah...as for whether they are really united, I'm not too sure.

It's another week again...
Monday, October 29, 2007

The week ended off with a lousy Sunday night. I was located somewhere South of Singapore, at HarborFront Centre selling Japanese Ice-cream. I knew it wasn't going to be easy because first of all, I am alone. No one's there to help me out with everything.

I'm actually selling Uzumaki Ice-cream.

Anyways, I left halfway through the M.A.D class halfway with Saiful for another SC General Meeting. Come to think about it, it was one of the best of the best meetings ever.
So me and Saiful went to the Admin block...don't why suddenly he went downstairs, and apparently we could not find the LT5 that we were supposed to go to...then we went ahead to the Admin block. We reached the Main Auditorium area and he asked the cleaning lady to open the door for us. We reached the other side but still couldn't find LT5...haiz.
Then we figured that it was actually on the same floor as our class just now. -.-"

Ok fast forward...we reach LT5, got a seat and sat down. Nabil was actually talking about the commendation awards and eventually it was given out few minutes after that.

After that, it was actually kind of a last few words from the chairmen and excos...was definitely a very touching scene. First to start off was Desmond. Somehow, from the meeting I saw the soft side of him. After everyone said their piece, Nabil invited them out and asked them to close their eyes. He was like literally hypnotizing them into "showing their emotions out" by saying that 'these are the people that you have work through for the past 1 year...these are the people that you taught them to be what they are today, etc.' And slowly some of them began breaking down, or rather broke down in tears.
Then Nabil turned to the members and said his piece to us as well...saying that 'Deep in your heart you know that they are a leader to you, but it doesn't come out from your mouth...etc.' After which, he told us to come down and whisper words of thank you-s, words of gratitude to them. Most of them went down, event Saiful. Seriously, I am really starting to regret not going down as well. The whole scene in front were the chairmen and excos had their eyes closed and were surrounded with lots of people.

It was clearly visible that all of them broke down in tears because they were so touched by the words said to them. Then as soon as everyone went back, Nabil asked them to open their eyes, saying that this is their end result of their efforts for the past 1 year.

Of course he did say more than that, and the whole atmosphere was so touching.

After that I left school and head on to meet my honey in Bugis. We needed to buy stuffs for Li Jun's birthday cum Halloween party. I took 31 to Bedok, and waited for at least 20mins for Bus 2, haiz.
Nearly wanted to leave and take the train, when the bus came. Always like that.

I got on the bus and fell asleep halfway with a few smses coming by...Honey said that she saw alot of 'chickens'...

Get it? Chickens? Chickens?!

When she finally reached, we made our way to Bugis Junction. Saw some suitable presents for Hamster...but not within our budget. Then we decided to go eat KFC, but the basement KFC was closed.

We went to the KFC at Bugis street area. Should have gone to buy the props for Halloween first because by the time we finished eating, the stores that we wanted to go to were all closed. Sad.

Then we made our way to the Marketplace, grab some Halloween stuffs and left to take 80. I actually went to the wrong bus stop that did not have 80 at all. Haiz.

Live the dream...?
Thursday, October 25, 2007

Live the dream was officially over yesterday. I only managed to watch the results show...Taufik Batisah, the papaya sisters and the click 5 were there to perform before the annoucement of the results. The performance was simply amazing...Taufik was rapping some song away, but compared to other rap songs his is considered quite medium slow speed, I think.

This is the first time I've seen the click 5 live. Well, I must say I simply love the drummer.
Well, duh I like drums.
The vocalist/elec. guitarist seem to be like abit "sian 1/2" because he walked away as soon as the first song was over. I didn't think that was a good intro anyway. They should have started with their hit song 'Jenny'.

There were lots of advertisements, lots of time delaying moments and finally...
Fendi won the Soloist category and By Definition won the group category. This really draw to my attention.

Taufik Batisah, Hardy Mirza, Fendi? They are all winners of the different competitions(Singapore Idol 1&2 and live the dream)...Slyvester, Johnantan and Victor? Finalist of the same competition.
I leave it to you guys to figure out what's the thing about this.

I think By Definition was really wonderful. The way they perform their songs really rocked. It seems to me that the vocalist, looks abit like Nasri/Aye. Ha. Don't know why I keep seeing people looking alike like the people I know. Wonder why Adam hasn't start teaching. Maybe he wants us to continue on the hourglass. Now he just send us the aircraft folder.

Yay. Today going to Far East with my honey...

Ciao.

It's a wednesday morning...
Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Well..it's about time...the first lesson today is MAD. Till now, I still have no idea what this short form means. Today woke up at 7.25am plus, woke up then went bathe. The first thought that came to my mind was, "man, I did this action yesterday."
Yeah, it's like everyday wake up, bathe, pack bag, wear socks and shoes, get my lanyard, open the door and walk towards the lift. I can simply just go on and on and on.

Anyway,I reached Tampines Interchange and instead of the usual $2 breakfast I bought choc chips bread and milo in school. It's after all much cheaper. Saw shasha over there too...she said Saiful went for the Medical checkup.
AFter a while we left for 4th floor, but Adam haven't come yet. So waited outside and I played my Pacman.Super sian lah...

After a while, I went in to the area where the classrooms were and I saw Sam outside. Since Salih was talking about the NS-checkup just now, I thought I went and ask Sam how he managed to get over that section...The private part section.

Lol! I thought that he would go crazy when the whatever the person was called(I don't think it's a doctor in army suit)asked sam to pull down his pants and underwear to check his penis.

Oh yeah, let's be matured about it...

Class started, then Adam introduced us to some flash websites where people can buy those flash templates and use/modify it. He continue saying that if we can do equally good like those creators, we also can earn millions like them. After that, he introduced us to another website with some flash tutorial in it.

This websiteteaches how to create a simple flash website, which actually includes the preloader, buttons, and the contents to where the buttons would show. Quite interesting though, never thought that it could actually be done with flash when previously we were learning it with Dreamweaver.

Then under this site there's this advertisement that leads to another flash website...I think that was where onion(nick for Ann yen) found this flash game that resembled alot like Maplestory.

Adam went off, Chester came in.

I'm blogging in school...
Tuesday, October 23, 2007

Hm. Word is that ITE has just received an IBM award...They even gave us a holiday last Tuesday...Well, from a lousy school with a bad impression to one that stands on top of the world, I must say I am pretty impressed with my own school. Even though some may just say that although ITE has won awards, it's after all still ITE. After what the movie, "I not stupid" has laughed about ITE as "It's The End", I think it has really deeply impacted the reputation of ITE itself.

Anyway, currently having this 3D modelling using a 3D software called Rhinocerous, short for Rhino. Rhino actually reminds me of the latest super sentai series titled as Jyken Sentai. Basically it's the Japanese version of Power Rangers.

eew,power rangers?! so childish..."

Yeah, you'll probably be thinking of that now. But it's not as childish as it seems. Though it is demostrated as a Kids TV show in the US, I personally think that lots of Japanese grew up with this show and some may be still catching the latest series of it. After all they have adults acting in it, that doesn't make them childish right?

Anyways, with regards to the Smitfraud post below, apparently it keeps popping out in my honey's laptop. So I went to do more research and this is what I have found:

New SmitFraud research

I hope that I can try on her computer today...hopefully. For now, it's breaktime and I'm going to get back to catch up with whatever that I've missed.

Smitfraud...
Monday, October 22, 2007

Hmm...been hearing lots of this kind of thing going around as a video link...well sad to say, this is a trojan/spyware that allow hackers to access your computers...

Of course, where there are problems, there will be solutions...here it is...

The solution...

For those computer geeks out there, not knowing what is this thing, refer to this website for more information...However, do not follow anything that has to do with money.
The information

And there you have it...seriously, I had quite a trouble with this on my honey'slaptop till I had to switch off its Wi-fi and leave it popping up all of the alerts...It's quite a disaster...That is with Technology.

I'm looking forward to buy a new CPU cover, plus I have found a store who has the lowest price to put all the hardware back into the CPU. I guess soon before Christmas, I'll be sitting in front of my computer again...

NS medical checkup...
Thursday, October 18, 2007

well lucky me...I get to use my parents' laptop the day before my NS medical checkup just to find out where the place is. Well, actually I'm really quite anxious about tommorrow's checkup. At the same time, feeling sad for myself. I wonder why they all have plan to meet up and all go together but just never happened to inform me. I had to ask my father where the place is(since he's a cab driver). He explained to me that it was quite near to my attachment area; around Alexandra Road. Sad to say, I kind of feel that they are leaving me out of this meeting together and going there.

This set me thinking...Why would they want to do that.

I asked guy A where the place was...he said he had no idea. I asked guy B, and he said they were all meeting at commonwealth. When i asked what time, no reply. Obviously trying to kick me out of their clique. I have to admit, I feel no better than my honey who has the exact cold treatment from her friends. Of course, there are the friendly people...like the malay guys. Man I must actually say, I'm better off mixing with them...but still, they love to talk in their malay language...

I guess this is more of a friendship checkup than a medical one...I must say that it is an unhealthy result...

CPU under maintenance? heh..
Tuesday, October 02, 2007

Well...CPU is under maintainence for now...so basically won't be using computer at home...till I actually do something...

Actually this happened because my CPU got taken away by my parents. Well, not to worry for now because what they are keeping now is actually an empty CPU cover; everything is totally dismantled except for the built in card reader. That's really a pity because it's really the special thing about that CPU. But hopefully when I buy a new CPU cover, I will know how to assemble everything back and computer usage will be back soon.

In the meantime, it's the critical week for preparing for my honey's birthday...I sort of just officially started planning because I needed to get my salary from Andersen's. But it's really a disappointment because they deducted 50cents per hour from my pay because I was late. I got no comments to say about this, I just passed this to my ex-manager and asked him to double check from me...

Anyways, I do hope that I can make it a special day for her on 11 Oct. It's after all her birthday as well as our 1st year 2nd mnth anniversary....

Signing off till the next update...
