Computer down at home...AGAIN!

haiz...always have to be like this...even though it's already 3.0GHz and pentium 4...
it just have to be down...It's seriously pathetic lah...Then even my ipod went against me...and now I can't put in the songs into my ipod...I'm left with nothing except my handphone...and the radio of course.

This week started off with a late wake-up because I had plans to make a visit to the doc's for my rashes that has been going on for quite some time already...It's really weird. I'm like getting scratches every night and sometimes in the afternoon where it's really hot and stuffy and I'm sweating like a human. It somehow gives me a feeling that it might actually be an allergy...
At the doc's I told him about the rashes that I have been getting every night and that it somewhat looked like a mosquito bite. BUT...The thing is
the rashes did not appear;
there was only pimples appearing on my back;
The doc could not come to a conclusion without looking at the rashes.

Argh! This is simply dumb. But still I got a few tablets and a cream to apply as well. Tuesday started off bad, with me waking up at 8am in the morning when I'm supposed to be awake by 7.15am. Luckily I wasn't that late...I entered in about 9plus...and I was quickly pushed to going out to the sites with the engineers by Kathy, the lady who was sort of in charge of me for my attachment. Well this is actually the first time after the first week that I'm asked to go out of Pasir Panjang and out into Singapore...in a van WITHOUT AIRCON!!!

The person who sort is the so called director, is called Ming Hui. Initially I thought it was a girl's name, since I haven't seen this person before. Then while in the van, Ming Hui asked me to do the introduction, then followed by the other engineers's names and introductions like where they are from...etc. And then the funny thing is that, when we were at the exit out of the building, he allowed the other vehicles of the other direction to go out first. Initially I thought because he did this to be gentlemanly as the other vehicle driver was a female. But no...it was because their cashcard didnt have enough money to pay for the parking fee and that they had to rush out as soon as the front vehicle was out before the barrier closes...

Yes. Laugh out loud.

I was told that our destination was actually Punggol CC, which is at Hougang Ave 6. But Min Hui had to go there through Farrer Road then to Upper Thomson and then head down to Yio Chu Kang Road after which I lead him there via Buangkok Drive...Basically he literally went one big round before reaching his destination...
After we reached the place, we were told that it was actually the wrong place...it wasn't the Punggol CC at Hougang, but it was the Punggol North CC at Punggol 21 aka Edgedale Plains which is...I think exactly opposite to where my dear little princess lives...Haha.

Well, I have typed this post for two days, from 26th to 27th...and it's a FRIDAY now...so awesome man. in another 27hours i'll be getting my payslip which is so awesome!
cheers people. signing out.

Am I...really on attachment?

Yeah, i pondered on this question after the 2nd day of attachment. Sounds kind of bad eh? I mean it's like, everybody seems to be doing their own thing and I am here waiting for someone to tell me to do something, or at least give me something to do...whahahaha. Then it's like, in MSN messenger, those that went for attachment have at least the word, "bored" or "boring" or and word that is associated with boredom. Yup, just double checked my MSN and the time, 6.07pm...it's affirmative.

Anyways, that other guy that was supposed to come for attachment with me, came only on the first day and then somewhat disappeared for two days already. That alone, can easily earn him a fail for this core module. Speaking of "core module, sacastically speaking, it is indeed very core-ly...

Haha. Signing off from work...it's 6.10pm le!!!

Full time work cum attachment...

Well, it's finally 16 April...Today's the first day of the attachment...can say that it's really quite slacking and extremely embarrassing. First thing is because that I wore long sleeve for attachment whereas everyone, including the guy from PIJ class also came in collar shirt and jeans..that was what Mr Roger advised us not to go in that attire...and I appeared so formal...in the end I end up moving and unpacking boxes...in long sleeve..yes u got that right. Lol.

Anyways, what actually happened was that I took the train at around 8...then I reached Outram Park and changed to the train going towards Boon Lay...and alight at Queenstown Station. When I reached, it was only around 840+/-...quite early I must say. Then I didn't know which direction to take 51..because according to the website streetdirctory.com, it says that I can take 51 from the MRT station. so I went to both sides. The first side was the one with 7-eleven...luckily for that otherwise I would have fainted...coz i didnt have breakfast before coming out. Bought a small carton of chocolate milk...and checked if that was the correct direction. As I expected, it was going towards hougang Central...so I crossed over and surprisingly saw a bunch of people standing near the road as if waiting for something to come. Waited and waited for the bus to finally come.

>>>>Fast forward>>>>

After I reached the place, I didn't really know where to enter into the building...so funny...I actually followed someone in hope that she would be going to the same place as me...but I realized she was going somewhere else..Then I turned back and realized that the entrance was just a few metres away...haha...On the way up to find the lift, I saw a guy heading towards the lift...as soon as both of us reached the lobby area, the lift came and he pressed 9. Immediately I know that he's the other attachment guy...I was like "omigosh, he's wearin collar t-shirt and I'm wearing long sleeve!!" then when entering into the place, I offically declared myself as too formally dressed. Then in came another guy, who was wearing long sleeves too...but, he was one of the manager.

Then while inside we were asked to fill in some application form, then get our I/C and student card to be photocopied...

Yeah there are really alot of things to say about the first day of attachment, and I can really go on and on and on...but well...to summarise everything, the first food that I ate there; the western food sucks big time...and then the place there is really strange and weird...it somehow looks like an office, but to me it does not seem like an office coz its so messy...and then I can slack there because the person say that, "I'll call you when there's something for you to do...that..is the funniest thing I ever heard when I'm on attachment.

Tiring week indeed...

Yup. This week is officially declared as a tiring one at 16.27pm, 9/4/07...even though it is only the first day. Why?

Because i am like working the whole week...6days through. Well, if not for the fact that I missed 6days of work during the last week of March, I wouldn't want to do it.

Trust me. Cmon...I'm a part-timer, what you expect?
Anyways, if nobody has noticed, I am working at Andersens of Dennmark at Suntec City level 1, just right below the escalator which is the weirdest thing that the management people have decided its location.

Today my princess went to watch movie with her new classmates. Even though they only went through 4 days of orientation, it feels so great that they already have this bonding and the strength of their unity together as a class to actually arrange an outing and go out together as a class for a movie. But coming back to my case, it's really sad...I haven seen or heard from any of my classmates...be it ex-to-be classmates or what(cause we're all going to be going into different sectors). But well, we're all going for attachment anyway...so just kind of looking forward to see them in school once again.

identity has proved its importance...

Sometimes, I really wonder...if people are without an identity; eg. anybody just comes and go into any country, it might just be better...provided that humans have a good heart. But sometimes even with a good heart, bad things just have to happen and those innocent lives of people have to suffer or die. Just like for example, the movie Hotel Rwanda. It is actually somewhat like the racism outbreak in Sri Lanka where there is two groups of humans; one being the minor and the other the major group. They call themselves the Hutus(major) and the Tutsis(minor).

Due to these kind of stupid things, I just wished we were all the same. Innocent lives were taken just because of one simple stupid reason;
WE ARE DIFFERENT.
That is plain ridiculous. Because each of us have our own specialities, we find the others as either weird or unacceptable. Say for example my class; Samuel. The whole school knows about him because of his weird actions and the way he speak. Sometimes, I just feel kind of sad for him because during our projects, no one wants to partner with him to do it until when there's a odd group out with insufficient manpower, then they would pull Samuel in as a last resort.

And then there's another kind of occurance whereby a similar thing happens; the only different thing is, it is in groups. Just like Sri Lanka and Rwanda, a major and a minor group is involved.

ok...alright...i'll continue after I come back..from work.

bored...

bored bored bored...still enjoying my few days left of holidays...but going back to school on 10 and 11 april...
Well. lots of things to blog recently. First of all, is my wonderful Andersens' of Dennmark at Suntec City. After my work last week on Friday, I went to get an MC for saturday and Sunday. Then when I returned back to work on Monday, something sort of happened the day before because it was like, zhaoyuan, one of the full timers who worked for almost a year, and siaw ling the new fulltimer who joined a month after i was recruited. When I reached there i saw siawling there eating breakfast. Few minutes later, Zhaoyuan came. Then both of them didnt really talk much. Their faces seem to be like so long and black at that time...but I thought it was because it's morning and then maybe they haven't really woken up. Then after I cleaned the dining area, I went in and Zhaoyuan smiled at me. From then i was assured that nothing much was going on. From 9plus the time flew...1021am, Zhaoyuan asked me to make cones. So i went to get the necessary items and made the "liquid" for making cones.
Then while i was making cones, devin came in. I handed him my MC and continued on my cones. When devin came in to the store(as in storage), Zhaoyuan approached him and asked about something in a agitated tone.

Then they started to argue with each other...after that siaw ling joined in the qurrael. I really pity devin...He had to kneel down in front of zhao yuan and apologize even though he's the manager...

After everything settled down, it all turned out that Zhaoyuan found out that Devin was saying that she badmouthed Siawling. And when Zhaoyuan found out, she approached devin to get things sort out. Well all i can say is, as womanly as she is I find her actions in this matter kind of immature because I feel that as adults, we should all settle this in a calm and civilized manner, after all she was talking to her manager...how can she raise her voice? I mean, if she has a problem with the manager she can just approach him after work and sit down at the cafe and talk things out not just confront him in the middle of working and screaming and shouting all through the morning without bothering about the customers and the surroundings.
