How to deal with customers...
Wednesday, January 09, 2008

Yesterday went to work again...Thought I was going to be late, but luckily I reached in time...Anyways, there wasn't much problems yesterday...just that there was this sickening customer that irritates me. He bought about 124plus worth of groceries...After which, he gave me his credit card and of course I did the credit card process.
But, when i swipe his card, there was card error no matter how many times I swipe. What i remembered from training was whenever there was *card error*, immediately reprint last transaction to see if the bill has been charged. I did what I remembered...but I missed one step, which is to actually check if it was his card and was it the correct amount. Being the first time I see this, I immediately thought that it was already charged when actually it was really the last transaction from the previous customer.

So I attempted to do credit card offline...but even so, it still could not be done. While I was doing that, the customer was pissed off with me, for the speed that I'm handling his transaction. But in actual fact, I was slow because of his card and he actually dared to blame me...

Anyways, back in school, there are so many projects coming along...and from now till the dateline(3Mar 2008) I have about 3months time to finish 5projects; computer animation, Flash, 3D modelling, Business plan, and problem solving.
Wow.
