3G Splash competition...

Yeap...by the looks of it, it is a competition that i'm taking part together with two of my other team-mates/friends. Man this competition is cool! Mobile game designing via programming...this is way too cool. Yesterday went back to school(finally after quite some time) for some java remidial. I was bold and daring enough to place my laptop in the locker...because it was burdening my shoulder. Mr Adam was mentioning bits and pieces of the splash and robocode competition...which I happened to join both initially, until I figured out that it was too much for me to handle. I wanted to learn about the codes behind the robo as well as to master the skill of programming with codes, and yet at the same time learn about game programming...both can say it's my interests. In the end I still quit robocode because I was really into making a mobile game. Imagine a mobile game you saw on the internet featured by Singtel was created by me and my friends, you can easily call me/us the GM of the game...
(GM=game master). Wow...what a status for it...hehe..

Anyways, recently was trying to look for a job and a friend of mine was introducing this $100 job posted on the newspaper. So I thought since it was $100 per day, why not? So we went to the place yesterday, filled up some interview forms and waited for 7mins when she asked us to give her 5mins. I was really pissed off already, but still I gave her chance because she was after all a busy woman and most likely the boss of the whole cohort of workers. So this job was actually wanting us to work as outdoor surveyors and we're paid for every successful survey given..each piece is $2 bucks...so 50 pieces can get $100, and if 1-2 people goes for the exhitbition promoted by the sponsors for the survey, we'll get extra $15 as bonus, but it'll usually be at 5-15% of chance. So for me, most likely I would target those teenagers and young working adults. Working adults would be too caught up with time. Like if I were to stop someone in City Hall MRT station for a survey in the morning...haha...no one would.

But I'm not really confident to do this job actually, in fact I was just influenced by my friend to join this job reluctantly, since I still have my MacDonalds job.

That's just one part for it. The other part is that I got PIE project unfinished, and it's due on next wednesday and I got the Splash competition thingy going on as well.So I'm getting myself busy even though I am on holiday. I really have to decide if I really want to carry on the macdonald's job because it totally can't fit my schooling schedule...unless they allow me to pause and come back during the next holiday...but thinking from a manager's point of view, I think it's a no no.
That's all for today...expect a new blog skin too!
