A series of unfortunate events...

Wow.
What can I say...all this is simply just too fast for me to even catch my breath. Right, so to cut everything short, I just lost this Motorola job. And well, I am excited as well as regretful about it.

Firstly, the reason why I got terminated from Motorola was and is unknown as yet. Yah, it happened today and what really happened was that today we had one full day of standing in the factory and doing nothing.
YES. Plain nothing. We were all standing in our lines and staring blank in the factory.
Then it was until about between 10-12noon, one of the aunties was passing around two pieces of paper so that we can write our names to register for OT.And I don't know if I really did the right thing, but I just wrote my name down knowing that for Sunday OT is extended till 6.30pm.
After this, I was talking to one of my friends when Jenny the GL, came up to me and said this to me...

"You don't have to do OT; Today will be your last day."

My jaws nearly dropped.
Reason being I needed the money for my bike. And luckily I recovered from my shock because I knew that I have gained back freedom once again. The first thing that really did come to my mind was, "This is all part of God's plan.." I guess it is then...

I guess it was also due to my past noticeable mistakes as well...There was once when the battery door had two different kinds; one with sticker, one without. And I didn't noticed it because the other guy left me alone at the line throwing all the responsiblities topping the supplies to me. And the pace as well as the topping up was so fast that I didn't even noticed any difference in the battery doors.
That was mistake no. 1.

Mistake no. 2 was yesterday. It was during the last few hours of packing. As ususal, the pace went to the maximum and luckily there were two of us to handle the supplies. It was till the very end, when our main source of supplies got depleted and we had to "steal" some from other lines in order to get the packing going on. One thing that is common is that the chargers is used up at a fast rate. Five minutes after the supply is topped, it is used up. So being kiasu Singaporeans, we MHs tend to take more boxes of chargers. At the start, one of the aunties suggested placing the box of chargers below the table and push it over to the other side. It's after all fast and efficient, and unfortunately I did listen to her advice. I placed three boxes of chargers below, two of which was used up when supplies was low. When we went to draw out the supplies, that same auntie found an extra box of charger!

That, I realized, was the big disadvantage of placing items below for convienience. You will NEVER notice them unless you're not busy.

And before we knew it, time was up and it was for us to go home. I went home unknowingly being watched, gossiped amongst the GLs who have the ablity to sack workers. Sad case...

The reason why I purely regretted leaving this job is the friends that I have made, especially those that I made today. I don't know...I guess something just sparked up inside of me when I saw this person(not going to reveal gender...hehe!). This person is super friendly with a hint of shyness. What was strange was that, this person's friends keep telling me to ask this person for his/her number. But being shy as I was, I didn't and thought maybe later. I guess it can never happen. Unless through friendster, which I am currently waiting for this person to do so.

The reason why I also didn't want this job too is because I got another job waiting for me. Although the pay is going to be so much more less, but I guess it is all part of God's plan. Wherever He places me, I will go.

Sigh. That is one thing. But I'm leaving with regrets. I am going to lose contact with my co-workers in Motorola. If only God can turn back the clock...If only...
